We just booked our flights!!! :)We are departing on Friday, June 6 -- Kien's 1st birthday! We leave at about 4pm, and my mom leaves at the very same time out of her local airport. Then we head to St. Louis, while she heads to Chicago. The we meet up in LA at 8-9pm PST (midnight in our heads!). We have a 5 hour layover! But apparently, we will spend a lot of time in lines, changing from the domestic terminal to the international terminal, getting new boarding passes, etc. Apparently the international terminal is hopping at midnight!
We leave LA at 1:45am PST...and we fly for 14.5 hours to Hong Kong!! Then we have a 2 hour flight from Hong Kong to Hanoi, Vietnam! :) We arrive on Sunday, June 8 at 10am Vietnam time after 31 hours of travel!
Then we (supposedly) leave Vietnam on the evening of June 18, arriving home on the morning of June 19 after 27 hours of travel.
Our hotel is also booked, so we are ready to go!!!! :)
